Medical & Liability Disclaimer
Educational Purposes Only (Not Medical Advice):
While SpineFITyoga frequently challenges conventional approaches to neck and back pain, all content—including videos, tutorials, blog posts, and community discussions—is strictly for educational and informational purposes. We are sharing yoga, biomechanical, and exercise perspectives.
Our Role: Yoga Instruction vs. Medical Advice:
Chad Reilly holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, a B.S. in Exercise Science, and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. However, on the SpineFITyoga platform, he is operating strictly as a Yoga Instructor and Exercise Science Educator.
Legal medical advice involves diagnosing a specific health condition, prescribing a medical treatment plan, and establishing a formal doctor-patient or therapist-patient relationship. SpineFITyoga does none of these. If you come to the platform with a known diagnosis, our guidance represents what we believe is the best movement strategy within our yoga system. It is provided as generalized education, without the specific, hands-on clinical assessment required to constitute physical therapy or a medical prescription.
1-on-1 Consultations & Insurance
Any direct communications, Q&A interactions, or future paid 1-on-1 consultations designed to tailor our yoga program to your specific needs are strictly classified as Yoga Instruction and Exercise Science Education. They are NOT telehealth, physical therapy, or medical treatments. No physical therapist-patient relationship is established. Furthermore, SpineFITyoga does not bill, accept, or provide documentation for medical insurance.
Alt-Yoga
We are sharing a non-traditional, strength-based biomechanical perspective that prioritizes bodyweight progressive resistance and neutral spine mechanics over the stretches and contortions commonly associated with traditional yoga.
Your Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
You are encouraged to make your own informed healthcare decisions. Yoga and physical exercise involve a risk of injury, including mild to severe physical harm. Likewise, it is worth reflecting on the fact that inactivity has its own risks. By participating in the programs offered by SpineFITyoga, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk.
You agree to assume all risk of injury to yourself, and you agree to release and discharge SpineFITyoga (and its owners, instructors, and affiliates) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of SpineFITyoga’s negligence or your participation in these activities. We recommend consulting with a healthcare provider to ensure you are cleared for physical activity before beginning any new exercise program.
